Another great weekend at the Tiltyard! I always enjoy making the monthly trip to the yard. This track is one that everyone should experience at least once.

We had a lighter turnout this weekend and because of that Homer gave us 3 rounds of 10 minute qualifiers. It was a test of your equipment and skill.

I ran my VP PRO SSLW Blade front and SSLW Impulse rear combo the whole weekend. I made a few small chassis changes but overall my cars were great. I got the TQ in round 1 of both classes but struggled to find the consistency I needed to secure the overall, landing me a 2nd place starting position for the A mains.

I rebuilt my nitro car Saturday night and went through the ebuggy as well. I felt confident going into the mains on Sunday. First up was the 30 minute nitro buggy A main. I started strong and lead for a while but about 10 minutes I started to fade and Austin Woodyard made a charge. I finally got my head back in the game after the last pit stop but the deficit was too much. Congrats to Austin on the win.

The ebuggy A1 main was chaotic from the start, a huge pileup sent me into the wrong lane but I somehow came out ahead and took the lead. I had almost a lap lead before I melted a motor wire and cooked my motor. With only 1 main counting I knew I still had a shot at the overall so I put in a spare motor and got to work. I followed Joseph Spiggle around for the first minute, waiting on my chance. He went wide at the top of the hill and I never looked back. I would go on to take the overall win.
